The Company

Construções Pardais – Irmãos Monteiros, Lda. Was created in 1992, however, its founders already worked together from an early age.

The father, the founder of the company, taught them everything about granite work and instilled in his children the principle of seriousness and of doing things well. Since then, they have worked together for 40 years.

PARDAIS consists of two units: 1) Construction and 2) Extraction and Transformation of Natural Stone.

The Construction unit directs its workforce toward public works in Portuguese territory. It has been a financially sound unit since its establishment.

Originally, the company was solely dedicated to constructing private houses and small granite projects. However, advancements in granite transformation prompted investments in rock transformation technology, enhancing the production of higher-quality products.

Today, PARDAIS is a growing company sustained by its quality work in natural stone transformation. It is recognized in Portugal and Europe for its capacity for transformation and technical expertise.

PARDAIS owns three quarries and a modern processing unit staffed with skilled masons possessing high technical capacity.”

Pardais Academy is a granite exploration workshop aimed at architects and landscape architects.

For architects, one of the biggest dilemmas is the selection of the best and most suitable material. Pardais Academy aims to help architects to get to know granite better and what is possible to build with a rock that is apparently difficult to shape.
