The Company

Construções Pardais – Irmãos Monteiros, Lda. Was created in 1992, however, its founders already worked together from an early age.

The father, the founder of the company, taught them everything about granite work and instilled in his children the principle of seriousness and of doing things well. Since then, they have worked together for 40 years.

PARDAIS is composed of two units: 1) Construction and 2) Extraction and Transformation of Natural Stone.

The Construction unit focuses its workforce on public works in the Portuguese territory. It is an economically healthy unit since its creation.

Originally, the company was dedicated exclusively to the construction of private houses and all kinds of small granite works.

However, the evolution of the granite transformation business led to invest in rock transformation technology, which allowed the ability to deliver more and better products.

Nowadays PARDAIS is a growing company sustained by quality work in the transformation of natural stones. It is recognized in Portugal and Europe for the work done that reveals the capacity for transformation and technique.

PARDAIS owns three quarries and a modern processing unit, made up of skilled masons with high technical capacity.

Pardais Academy is a granite exploration workshop aimed at architects and landscape architects.

For architects, one of the biggest dilemmas is the selection of the best and most suitable material. Pardais Academy aims to help architects to get to know granite better and what is possible to build with a rock that is apparently difficult to shape.

Granite is considered a noble product for interior and exterior decoration and has advantages that range from refinement and beauty that give environments, durability and resistance.

Given the challenges of construction whose works and rehabilitation are a source of concern for architects and engineers, it is the selection of the most suitable materials to apply, which makes the final choice difficult.

Pardais Academy is a practical and curricular program for architects to get to know and use granite better.

PARDAIS® usually exhibits at the largest fairs in the Construction and Natural Stone industry.

The National Center for Information and Arbitration of Consumer Conflicts (CNIACC) aims to monitor consumer conflicts, through information, mediation and arbitration, acting throughout the national territory in areas not covered by other entities competent for the extrajudicial resolution of the dispute. The Center has face-to-face and telephone assistance at the CNIACC office/headquarters located at Rua D. Afonso Henriques, 1- 4700-030 Braga.
