The Urban Vision and the Client’s Objectives
The planning was carried out by the local council’s technical teams in collaboration with local landscape architects, with Nordre Follo Municipality (the client) setting out clear guidelines: economic sustainability, long-term durability and the elimination of the ecological footprint resulting from frequent maintenance.
By opting for PARDAIS® Portuguese natural stone, the project owner ensured a material capable of withstanding the harsh freeze-thaw cycles typical of Scandinavia. The project thus fulfils its ultimate purpose: to provide the town of Ski with an inclusive, eco-friendly public space that requires minimal maintenance and features a timeless design that will enhance the municipality for generations to come.
