The Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Temple is currently under construction in Cranberry Township, a suburb of Pittsburgh in the United States of America. The temple sits on an impressive 2.3-hectare site and has a construction area of approximately 2,973 square meters. The entire structure is covered in granite sourced and processed by the artisans at PARDAIS®.
The temple’s exterior is adorned with intricately designed decorations, including elegant friezes, all meticulously crafted from granite. To ensure precision in the architectural details and installation techniques, a full-scale mock-up of the temple facade was created at PARDAIS® facilities. This attention to detail ensured that every aspect of the temple’s design and construction was flawlessly executed.
Project Challenges
The accomplished production team at PARDAIS® embraced the formidable challenge of devising ingenious technical solutions for installing and supporting the Portuguese granite components, collaborating closely with the architects and builders on the site.
